A small site of photo utilities and calculators. The point is that your files and numbers stay in this browser — not that we invented every kind of resizer on the web.
Who we are
imagecropx publishes free tools you can use without creating an account. Image pages (resize, convert, crop, compress, blur, HEIC, PDF and the rest of the catalog) run with Canvas and other Web APIs in your tab. Calculator pages (EMI, SIP, BMI, percentages, dates) use the numbers you type and decimal arithmetic for money — not floating-point rupees.
There is no membership, no photo library in the cloud, and no “AI studio.” If a format cannot be written honestly (for example animated GIF or HEIC encode), the tool says so instead of shipping a fake file.
Why local processing
Most “online image editors” upload the picture to a server, process it, then send a download link. That is convenient for them and risky when the file is a passport photo, a WhatsApp screenshot, an ID, or a product shot you have not published yet.
Here the file you choose is read in the page, edited in memory, and offered as a download from this device. Close the tab and that copy is gone. We do not receive the original or the result. Decoder notes (HEIC WASM, PDF.js worker) are on the Privacy page — including the one case where a worker script may load from a public CDN without sending your PDF bytes.
What this site is for
Everyday jobs: iPhone HEIC that a form will not accept, a size cap on email, Instagram or passport dimensions you do not want to guess, a pack of product photos to JPG, a region of a screenshot to pixelate, EMI or SIP planning in rupees. Start from image tools or calculators.
We are not a bank, a SEBI-registered advisor, or a government portal. Calculator results are for planning. Passport and application sizes still have to match the official form — the resizer only sets pixels, not eligibility.
Limits we keep on purpose
Work happens on your CPU, so a phone will be slower than a laptop. Very large files (about 25 MB) and huge pixel counts are rejected so the tab stays usable. Batch tools cap how many files you can run at once. Server-side “magic” removal of objects or photorealistic upscaling is not part of this site.
That is the trade: no upload, no account, honest format support — not an editor that claims to match a commercial cloud product.
Ads and how we stay independent
The tools are free. If advertising is shown later, it pays for hosting and keeping the catalog in the browser. Ads do not get your photos; those never leave the device. We do not sell image files or calculator inputs.
Contact
There is no login, so there is no in-app inbox. Use the contact page. How files are handled is documented on Privacy. Each tool page states what it can encode, what it cannot, and typical failure cases (browser AVIF support, first-frame GIF, first-page TIFF).
If you need a particular size or format, use the matching tool rather than emailing a file — we would not want the file anyway.
