Pixelate a face-shaped box you place yourself
No automatic face finder. You put the box on the person, then download.
Face blur starts with a taller rectangle because heads are taller than number plates. You still drag it. There is no model claiming to “find all faces.” That honesty matters: a missed face in the background stays visible.
If you need the whole frame soft, use Image blur. If you need one patch (a badge, a screen), use Object blur.
Processed in your browser. Files are not uploaded.
Supported: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, HEIC, AVIF. Max 25 MB, 1 file.

Questions about this tool
Does it find faces?
No. Mark the region. Auto-detect would need a model we do not ship yet.
Does Face Blur upload the file?
No. This tool runs in the tab. See Privacy for decoder notes (HEIC, PDF.js worker).
What is the file size cap?
About 25 MB per file. Very large pixel counts are rejected so the tab stays responsive.
